I saw this card on Artistic Avenger’s site a while back. I’ve been wanting to make it, but I didn’t have a good “star” set. I finally got the set Seeing Stars so I could do the card.
I did them in 3 different color combos. Some designs work great in different colors, while others don’t. Strange how that works! The stamp sets I used were as follows on all cards:
Just Soccer
Inspired By Nature
Seeing Stars
A retired Birthday Verse Set.
Lot of sets for a simple card!!

Cards stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Garden Green, More Mustard

Card stock: Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White

Card stock: Night of Navy, More Mustard, Garden Green, Whisper White

Here’s a little break from Christmas cards. Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up!’s founder is going to be on the Today Show on Friday, December 4th. We were asked to send the show a thank you card for honoring her/SU. This gave me an opportunity to design another card! I love this color combo. After looking at it on line, I think I might make another one and move the flowers over just a little bit more. It always looks so different on the computer.

Card Components:
Cardstock: Rick Razzleberry, Cottage Wall
Ink: Rick Razzleberry
Stamps: For All You Do
Accessories: Clear Circle Rhinestones, Ribbon, 1/2 pearls from the Pretties Kit
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I’ve seen quite a few very cute cards with the elf made from the ornament punch. Figured I’d jump on the band wagon.
This will be the only project we make at next month’s club meeting. We are having a cookie swap along with a yankee swap so we won’t have time for three projects.
The elf is made with three punches. The ornament punch, the 5 petal punch and a 1/4″ circle punch. The scallop is the Sizzix big scallop die that Stampin’ Up? carries. I did the circles with the Circle Scissors. The paper is the DSP Merrry Moments and Real Red card stock. I put glitter on the rim of his hat as well. I tried the shimmer paint, but I’m a glitter girl!
The clever thing about this card is that I used the slit punch on the scallop so you could slip a gift card in the back. I’ve seen other cards where the designer put 1/2 a scallop on the back to slide the gift card in. This was a lot easier to do. It makes a great ornament on the tree as well! I also used a 1/2 pearl from the Pretties Kit for his pom pom. There was a lot to this simple card!!!

We did these ornaments last year with the scallop circle punch. It looks even prettier using the Ornament punch! I punched out 8 ornaments and used a glue dot for pearl.
We will be doing these for our final project for tomorrow night’s club meeting.

Supplies: Ornament Punch, any ink color, silver cord and pearls from the Pretties Kit.

Did a bit of a do-over for a card I did earlier. I like the kraft paper and used some of the Holiday Lounge DSP. The set is Patterned Pines from the Holiday Mini. I think this will be the last card for my club night this Thursday, unless I come up with something else by Thursday!!!
