I just LOVE Rich Razzelberry, but I’m going to miss Cottage Wall.  I really hope they come up with something to go with it in the new catty.

I also used the Shimmer Paint in the spray bottle.  You can see it better on this card than the graduation card I did last week.  This time, I used the frost in the bottle.  All three shimmer paints look great on the cards. You just have to figure out which one goes with what color card stock.

Card Components:

Card Stock: Rich Razzelberry, Pale Plumb, DSP Cottage Wall

Ink: Rich Razzelberry, Pale Plum

Accessories: Rich Razzelberry Ribbon, Pearls, Dazzling Diamonds, Beautiful Wings, Shimmer Paint

I love the Party Hearty stamp set, although I could use another good birthday set. Waiting on the new catalog for that!! Just  a little over 1 1/2 months to the new catty!!

Card Components:

Card Stock: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Temping Turquoise, DSP Island Oasis, So Saffron

Stamp Sets: Party Hearty, Family Prases

Do Over!

I wasn’t too thrilled with this box we will be doing tomorrow night.  It’s cute, but I wanted to teach the class something different.

I’ve been seeing the roses everyone has been doing and thought it would look good on this box.

So, instead of doing the above box tomorrow night, we will be doing this one!  The flower was super simple and I like this much better!!

I think I might put the flower just a little more to the right next time.  Don’t you just love the butterfly!

Graduation

This is a really bad picture of a really good card.  You can’t see that I used the Shimmer Paint Mist that I made on the Garden Green card stock.  All my workshop attendee’s will see it, but you can’t!  I also used the Fine Black Cosmo glitter on the star. Can’t see how great that looks either. Bummer!!!

The way I made the Shimmer Paint Mist was I got a small spray bottle, the kind you get in the travel sample section at the drugstore, filled it with rubbing alcohol, and added some of the Champagne Shimmer Paint.  One of the blogs in my blog roll, Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts, has a video on it.  I couldn’t find it on her site, but I did see it on Youtube.  Just make sure you shake the bottle before you spritz.  It’s a great look!

We’ll be doing this in a class the first week of June.

Card Components:

Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Garden Green

Accessories: Shimmer Paint Mist, Black Satin Ribbon, Larger White Brads, Star Punch, Black Cosmos Fine Glitter

Stamp: Happy Graduation from the Summer Mini

I was showing my class the other night how you can alter a card slightly and give it a whole new use!  I actually did this for one of my Christmas cards a few years ago. I just changed the verse to a “With Sympathy” stamp. This was a fast and easy card to do. We will be doing this on Friday night.  I still have room in the class so contact me if you want to join us!

Card Stock: Whisper White, Always Artichoke

Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Lovely As A Tree

Ink: Always Artichoke

Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds

My Basket Blog

I’m still playing with the dynamics of WordPress.  I figure this was the best way to keep the link for my Longaberger basket blog.

Click here to visit my basket blog!

This is the home office of Longaberger, I’m going there in July for the annual convention. I can’t wait!!!  Would like to go to Stampin’ Up!’s convention but it’s too far for me.  I’m just happy to get away!

Cheep Talk

Went through my stamps this weekend and realized I hadn’t used this little guy for a while. To celebrate Pacific Point coming back, I dug out some old striped ribbon I still had as well. I doubt SU will bring back this exact ribbon, but maybe something similar.

Card Components

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, DSP Old Olive, Crushed Curry

Stamp Set: Cheep Talk
