About Me

I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since February 2007, but I've been using the products since 2003. I turned my passion for this hobby into a business! I absolutely LOVE doing paper crafts!

Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.

Bunny Candy Box

I saw this post on my downline, Linda Walsh, and I just had to copy it.  It is SO CUTE!!!

The box is just a variation of the 2, 4, 6, 8 box up on Splitcoast.  I cut the paper to 8 1/2 x 5. Scored 2,4,6, 8, turned the paper and scored 2 & 4.  I used the eyelet boarder punch to give it the lace affect. The rest of it is just punches!!

I’ll be doing this in an upcoming class so make sure you sign up for it if you want to make him!!

Happy Valentine’s Day

My daughter came home Monday with a list of her class for Valentine’s cards.  I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT HER CLASS!!  She has 26 kids in her mains class and 8 in her SPED class PLUS 7 teachers/aides!  I went to town the last two nights covering lolipops, candy bars and these little cuties.

Wish list for 2010

This is a cute Wish List we will be doing at a class in February.

I love using the Build-a-Brads on projects that last for a while. I hate to waste them on cards if I can help it!

This was made with Bermuda Bay card stock and Thoroughly Modern DSP.

I went to Staples and had them cut note pads in 1/2.  It costs about $2.00 per cut and you can make a bunch of them from a block of the note pads.

This can be used for a shopping list, to-do list or anything you wish!

Elf made from Ornament Punch

I’ve seen quite a few very cute cards with the elf made from the ornament punch. Figured I’d jump on the band wagon.

This will be the only project we make at next month’s club meeting. We are having a cookie swap along with a yankee swap so we won’t have time for three projects.

The elf is made with three punches. The ornament punch, the 5 petal punch and a 1/4″ circle punch. The scallop is the Sizzix big scallop die that Stampin’ Up? carries.  I did the circles with the Circle Scissors.  The paper is the DSP Merrry Moments and Real Red card stock. I put glitter on the rim of his hat as well.  I tried the shimmer paint, but I’m a glitter girl!

The clever thing about this card is that I used the slit punch on the scallop so you could slip a gift card in the back.  I’ve seen other cards where the designer put 1/2 a scallop on the back to slide the gift card in. This was a lot easier to do.  It makes a great ornament on the tree as well!  I also used a 1/2 pearl from the Pretties Kit for his pom pom.  There was a lot to this simple card!!!

Ornament

We did these ornaments last year with the scallop circle punch. It looks even prettier using the Ornament punch! I punched out 8 ornaments and used a glue dot for pearl.

We will be doing these for our final project for tomorrow night’s club meeting.

Holiday baking gift

When I bring home made breads to someone’s house, I just don’t like to place it in a bag and dump it on the table.  I saw a few of these made on SC, but their dimensions didn’t fit my Pampered Chef stone loaf pan.  The papers used are Taken With Teal and Holiday Lounge.  The stamp is last year’s Country Living set.  I’m REALLY glad I got that set because it works PERFECT on food gifts!

Ornament

Finally getting back into the swing of things in my stamp room!

This is the ornament I will be including in the Nov 20th class.  It took me quite some time to figure out what to do with it.  I have one space left in the class, so if you want to find out how I got the snowflake inside the ornament to look like it’s floating, sign up for the class!!!

I will be selling the project sheet on this workshop after Nov 20th.  Look for it in my upcoming store.

Explosion Box

This is the explosion box we will be doing on the November 20th class.  Inside will be an ornament. I haven’t figured that one out yet.  When I do, I will post it.

I found directions on SCS for the box. I saw a card at Regionals with two reindeer similar to this.  I thought the two reindeer would look cute on top of this box.

Great gift

I thought I had posted this previously but I couldn’t find it.  This is a simple gift bag that I found on Chicknscratch’s site.  The cards are made with retired papers, Walk In The Park & Baja Breeze, and the stamp set is Great Friend along with the Baroque  Border wheel.

Box of Cards – Fall Theme

My retired Autumn Vine paper came in handy for this lovely box of cards. The stamp set is Trendy Trees. It goes great with the paper.

I really miss this paper.  You can still buy it through the Clearance Rack on my website!
