Simply Sketched

Ok, now back to stampin!  I’m SO excited about the new catalog.  I’ve cleaned out my stamp room and downsized a lot of retired stamps.  I hate to see them go, but sometimes you just have to get rid of stuff.

I’ve lost a little Mojo waiting for the new catalog.  Now that I put a big order in, I can’t wait to get my goodies!!! I did get some pre-order stuff.  Here’s a card I made with one of the new Hostess sets, Simply Sketched.  It will be the card we make for the June 28th class.

Today is the LAST day to RSVP for my Open House on Friday night. You can still come if you don’t RSVP, but you get more goodies if you do! Check the list on the Workshops Page to make sure your name is on there.

Here is one of the projects we will be making.  Those who RSVP get to make 2 Make-N-Takes!  I saw this design in the new catalog.  We don’t have star punches any longer, but I think all my customers have the star punches by now!

I won’t post anything else until after the Open House.  I need to keep somethings a secret!!

Don’t forget about my Yard Sale table at the Open House.  I cleaned out my stamp room and have a TON of stamps, paper and accessories to sell!

Boston Marathon Bombings

This is a difficult post for me.  For all my blog readers who don’t know, I live in the Boston area.  Patriots’ Day is a big deal in our great city and lots of my friends and family attend events or run the Marathon.

The above link is graphic, but it is a picture of my niece’s best friend, Sydney Corcoran.  Sidney and her mom were badly injured on Monday.  Her mom lost both her legs below the knees and Sydney almost bled out at the scene, but thanks to total strangers, she is alive, but still in the hospital with serious injuries.  Both her and her mom have a long difficult road ahead of them.

I feel totally helpless but wanting to do something. I thought I would reach out to my stampin’ family and ask for help. If you would like to send them a handmade get well/thinking of you card, it might brighten their day in some small way.

You can send your cards to the address below, and I will deliver them unopened to my niece so she can get them to Sydney and her mom.

Birthday – All Occasion

I really need more generic birthday cards. Never have enough of them, especially for boys and men.

I saw this card up on Pinterest and just loved it.  I changed it just a bit, but not much. This is definitely going to be in an upcoming class! The paper is from the Simply Scrappin’ Kit, Bandstand.

Tea For Two

This is the card I did for my downline last night. I own all the paper piercing paks, but haven’t used any of them yet, so I decided it was time!

I usually put a verse on it, but this one didn’t need it – plus I didn’t leave enough room down the bottom!

Enjoy!

All Dressed Up

I’ve been agonizing for over 3 nights trying to come up with something, and this is all I could do!  Somedays, I can’t get my Mojo!

As simple as this is, it’s really a very pretty card.  And so fast to make!  I bought the All Dressed Up bundle because I have 3 weddings this year and I need to make some wedding gift bags and I have a great idea for it.  That’ design is coming at a later date.

Enjoy!
