I have a ton of Ghirardelli chocolate squares to sell so I’m hoping these little babies go this weekend at my craft fair!  They worked up so fast!  The paper is 5 x 3 1/4. Place adhesive on 3 sides of the paper and wrap around the square.  Use the crimper on the edges and decorate!  Yum!

These are great stocking stuffers or on top of gifts.

More Christmas Treat

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Made a great turkey dinner and still had time to stamp!  I found these little cuties on Mafer’s Creations. Of course, I can’t read French, but I’m pretty good at figuring things out.

She used the Top Not Die for the holder. It’s filled with the Hershey Nuggets,it holds 3. The Top Note Die is scored 1/4″ away from the center of the peak on both sides.  The band is 1″ x 8 1/4 and is scored at 1 3/4, 2 1/4, 5 3/4 & 6 1/4.  I used a variety of punches to decorate the band.

Enjoy!

Super Easy Gift Card Holders

I did a craft show this weekend and a few people asked me for gift card holders. I really didn’t have any so here are a bunch I’ll have at my next craft show!  I’ll also be doing the snow flake one at my Free Beginner stamp class on Tuesday night!

It’s super simple to make.  The card stock measures 7 3/4 x 5.  Score at 2 1/2 & 6. The Designer Series Paper measures 2 1/4 x  4 3/4 & the smaller one on the bottom is 1 1/2 x 4 3/4.  The piece on the inside where the “To/From” stamp is measures 2 1/4 x 4 3/4 as well (it’s on the back of the flap where the bigger DSP is).

Just  glue the sides of the small flap so it will hold the gift card.  The band is 1 x 7 3/4.  Wrap around the holder and glue closed. I used the small scallop punch with circle punches.  You could use the lager scallop if you like or just circle punches.  It works up SO fast.

I made these to fit in Stampin’ Up!’s note card envelopes.

Enjoy!

Clean and Simple

I realized I didn’t have any class samples up past this Friday. So here’s a clean and simple card we’ll be doing on Nov 9th. The inside is decorated as well, but my battery died on my camera and I forgot to recharge.

Lovely As A Tree is one of my all time favorite sets. I always do some Christmas card with it every year. It’s been around for 10 years now!  Every year when the new catalog comes out, we keep wondering if it will retire. Who knows!  Thanks for stopping by!

Card Components:

Card Stock – Always Artichoke, River Rock

Stamp sets: Lovely As A Tree

Accessories: Always Artichoke grosgrain ribbon, Striped Embossing Folder, Dazzling Diamonds

Double Pocket Chocolate Holders

Anything with the word Chocolate in it must be good!!!  These are actually double pocket Tea Bag holders I saw on this tutorial on Youtube.  I actually did it a little differently (besides putting Ghiradelli chocolate in them!).  If you watch the video, she folds the 6 x 6 paper on the diagonal in half. I didn’t do this.  I’ll show you how I did it below.

These are Christmas ones I made for my upcoming craft show. They work up really fast and are so cute.

We are also going to be making the one with the mitten in my class on Friday. That class is full.

Oops, this one is a little crooked with the cut out words. I never notice it until I take a picture of it!

I’ll have to fix that one before I sell it!

Ok, the way I did it without folding it was I put markers on my Stampin’ Up! Score Pal at 2 3/4, 3 3/4, 4 3/4 & 5 3/4. I have the black line on my 4 1/4 mark all the time. I score so many cards it was just easier to see the score line.

Lay your 6 x 6 piece of paper on the diagonal with the point at 4 1/4  and score at the 3 3/4 & 4 3/4 maker.

Now, turn the paper and put the  opposite points at the 4 1/4 mark again. Score at the 2 3/4 & 5 3/4 mark.  Now, watch the video on how to assemble. Good luck!

Snowman Box

I didn’t realize I haven’t posted anything in 2 weeks!  That’s not like me! But it’s been a crazy two weeks. I finished up school (finally got my degree, 30 years after all my friends did!) so I should have more time to get ready for my craft shows and Christmas projects!

My craft show last weekend was great.  Have to replenish all the cards I sold.  People loved my tins, too bad I can’t find any more of them. I wish Provocraft would sell them again!

Here’s a cute snowman box I’m going to fill with candy.  I have to wait for my Stampin’ Up! bags to come in though!

Christmas Tins

I found some band aid tins I didn’t use last year.  These make great gift card holders or just great to hold candy or anything that will fit in there.  I made 7 different ones.  Enjoy!

Snowman Treat Box

Starting on my Christmas Treat Boxes.  This one is made with the SU purse die!  I just turned it around and didn’t put the handle on it.  The hat is a 2 x 1 1/2 Basic Black piece with a 3/8″ x 2 3/4″  piece (I think, too lazy to go measure right now!) So easy, fast & so dang cute!

Also, for all my local readers, our yard sale is postponed until next Saturday.  I will keep you posted on that!

Another Snowflake

So last night I showed the class my Ornament Keepsakes Snowflake. It looks SO much better in person. They asked me to do a class for it so I said I would. But I wanted to make another one for the class along with a card. So here is the other Ornament Keepsakes Snowflake we will be doing in an upcoming class.  Class is limited so make sure you sign up early! I will be posting the card  for that class tomorrow.
