Archive for the ‘Valentine’ Category

This bag was kind of big to fit in my light studio so I thought I would take it outside.  I’m not the best photographer.

This is going to be a door prize at my Open House next week!  Isn’t it cute????  I used the More Amore Specialty DSP and the new ribbon that’s in the Spring Mini.

The Love stamp was the single stamp that was available last month.  I’ll see if I can do a better picture in the light studio.  I really don;’t think this picture

does it justice, but I just wanted to get it up on my site!

Birthday Card

This week I’ll be posting just about every day.  I saved up a bunch of cards to show my customers at my Open House yesterday. I wanted them to see new stuff, so now I can post them!

This card below is the card we will be doing Friday night in class. There is still room so go to the Workshops page and sign up!  We will be making 3 of these and there is a Valentine’s verse that goes with it so if you don’t have a Valentine’s card for that special person, you can come and make one!

Stampset: Sweetcake

I’m back on the Valentine’s Day kick!!!  I just couldn’t resist this one. I was inspired by this card on It’s A Stamp Thing. So cute!

Hello from Disney!

We got to Disney relatively easily yesterday. The weather is PERFECT!   We are here celebrating my 2nd 25th birthday! LOL!

I did download a few pic’s to post while I’m away so here’s another goodie that’s going to be for sale at my Open House next week. They are cute little pillow boxes filled with chocolate. I got the clear boxes from a box vendor. The paper is SU’s DSP Love Impressions. You can still purchase from Stampin’ Up!’s clearance rack. It’s the only Valentine’s paper that’s available right now so if you need to do some Valentine’s crafts, better go get some. I used the PS I love you stamp set from the Occasions Mini and the punch is our Triple Hear Punch.

Valentine’s Day Pig

One of my team members is starting a new blog – as soon as she has it up, I’ll add it to my blog roll – but she made a comment that she doesn’t have a lot of original designs. I said “most of my designs are CASED to a certain point”.  I told her, IT’S OK TO COPY SOMEONE, or better, be “inspired” by other peoples’ work.  It’s the best form of flattery!!!  Just as long as you give credit where credit is due.

Ok, to MY next CASE – sound like I’m a lawyer, LOL!  I saw this card by Mafer’s blog and immediately thought of the pig from Button Buddies. Simple to make and so cute. I didn’t put the button on the nose because it really didn’t add anything to it. The verse is from the new set, PS. I Love you.  Enjoy!

More Valentines

I’m going to have a lot of Valentine’s cards available for sale at my Open House.  I’m on a roll making them lately!  I used Cherry Cobbler for the card stock for this card. It’s such a rich and beautiful color.  The stamp set is PS. I Love You.  I did the faux brad technique as well with the Crystal Effects.  There’s just a dab of Dazzling Diamonds sprinkled on the hearts.

Snowmen Valentine

This was a card I found on Pinterest, but it turns out that it’s in the Idea Book and Catalog on page 14.  I totally missed it. I thought this was a great, different kind of Valentine card. I should  look through the big catalog more often!

Oh, if you don’t know about Pinterest, it’s a great site to save all pictures on the web.

First of all, Happy New Year my blog readers!  This will be my 5th year as a Stampin’ Up! Demo!  I don’t know where the time goes these days!  I’m hoping in a few months that I will be in my new stamping studio.  Just have to wait until hubby gets a job and vacates his office :0

Onto the card, love the new set from the Occasions Mini, PS. I Love you. The chocolate covered strawberry is to die for!  On this card, I used the Crystal Effects on the chocolate part and it looks so real I could eat it!! This is a very simple card. I’m doing a lot of simple cards lately.  Wait until you see the card my guests at my Open House will be doing!  It’s so beautiful!  Make sure you RSVP that you are coming on the 21st!
