Fundraiser for CF

One of my team members (and VERY best friends) – Karen – is doing a fundraiser for CF. One of her closest  friend’s daughter has CF and Karen helps out every year with the local fundraiser.

Two of my  customers who know Karen, ask if they could help out some how, so Karen will be doing a fundraiser at my Stampin’ Studio on Friday, April 27th from 7:00 – 9:00.

You will be making 6 of the card below for a donation of $20.00.

All of your donation will be going to CF – Julia’s Angels.

Let me know if you want to join us!!!

Kid Birthday Card

I decided to do a kid birthday card for a change (change from flowers!).  I was inspired by a few cards with this stamp set – haven’t used it for a while and decided to pull it out.  We’ll do it in an upcoming workshop. I really liked the card till I took a picture of it! It looks a lot better in person :~

Not sure if I’ll get to post anything till next week so I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter!!!!  Hope the Easter Bunny leaves you lots of chocolate!!!

Mother’s Day Cards

I made a card yesterday and wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. Today, one of my downline gals came over and saw it and liked it. But I said it had something missing.  When she left, I looked at it again and added a bow and changed the verse around (I had the butterfly below the verse on the original card). Now I love it!!!  I added it to one of the upcoming workshops in April.  You can change the verse out to a birthday, sympathy or thank you.  Go sign up if you want to do the class!

Card Components:

Stamp Sets – Up In The Air -Hostess in 2012 Occasions Mini, any verse

Card Stock: Early Espresso, Blush Blossom, DSP Twitterpatted

Accessories: Blush Blossom ribbon, adhesive pearls, Dazzling Diamonds, Beautiful Wings

Field Flowers

Got back to my stamp room today. Been a busy week and it was nice to relax.  I realized I didn’t have any projects for my classes the end of April and tomorrow is April!!!

Here is a card we will be doing on April 20th.  It’s made with the set, Field Flowers.  Such a nice set! There are 2 different versions below. Not sure which one I like better. What do you think, pearls or no pearls?

Stay tuned for more info on my upcoming clubs.  I can’t believe the new IBC will be out in 2 months!!!  Are you as excited as I am??

Hoppy Easter

I have to go on a business trip this week so I won’t be posting much this week.  I’ve made these pencil holders before, but not any Easter ones. The pictures are a little big, but you cam see the detail better I guess. These are so simple to do.  Cut the DSP 7 1/2 x 4. Score it on 1 1/4 and 2 3/4. Put adhesive on one of the long sides and bottom.  Place the pencils in it and seal it up. Pull the pencils out and take a crimper to the bottom.  The bunny is just circle & oval punches. I used the computer for the verse.

The thing that took me the longest was finding the stupid googly eyes!  I had to take them off other card projects!  Time to go to the dollar store and get more of them! Don’t you just love the back!!!

The punches I used were as follows:

Ears – SU Large oval, SU Small Oval

Head: 1 3/8 circle, 3/4″ circle for jowls & 1/2″ circle for nose.

I confess, I’m a big CASER. I saw this card (and pinned it on Pinterst) and just loved it.  I changed around just a little – adding a base layer, I always have a darker color for the base card.  I also decided to do this card for this Friday’s class. I didn’t really like the original card I chose for the class so this gave me a good excuse to change it. I still have room so contact me if you want to join us!

Summer Smooches!

I absolutely LOVE the Summer Smooches DSP!  I’ve used a lot for my craft show tomorrow.  Here are two samples of what I’ll be selling tomorrow.

Happy Accident

So, I was playing with my new Summer Smootches DSP tonight ( I LOVE THE SUMMER SMOOTCHES by the way, wait till you see my upcoming projects!) and while cutting some of it for projects, one piece ended up on the back of my iPhone. It was the exact size of the iPhone which made me think “hmmm, I have a clear case on my iPhone, I wonder how the paper will look under the case.”

So, here’s what it looks like! It was SO easy!  Just measure the size of your iPhone, corner round the corners and use a circle punch to punch out the hole for the camera (you trace the oval through the case and punch holes around it. My particular case has a black trim around the hole so you don’t see any jagged edges).  You can change this out for the seasons!  So cool, don’t you think? This was the chattiest post I’ve done in a long time :)

Concord Crush

One of my customers reminded me that I hadn’t posted this card.  I did this design a while back with other colors. The stamp sets are Vintage Vogue & Love & Sympathy. Card stock, Concord Crush & Wisteria Wonder. Not to chatty today, have to go stamp!

Angry Bird Bookmarks

Working on new things to sell at my upcoming craft fair this Saturday. I keep seeing cards and things with the Angry Birds on them and thought I would make these little beauties.  They are done with punches and Sizzix dies.  Figure the kids would like them. Although I have no clue what Angry Birds are all about!
