I’m going to have a lot of Valentine’s cards available for sale at my Open House. I’m on a roll making them lately! I used Cherry Cobbler for the card stock for this card. It’s such a rich and beautiful color. The stamp set is PS. I Love You. I did the faux brad technique as well with the Crystal Effects. There’s just a dab of Dazzling Diamonds sprinkled on the hearts.
This isn’t a hand made card, but it’s the best Christmas card we got this year. The handsome gentleman dressed as Han Solo is my nephew Sean and his beautiful wife Terri is Princess Leia. The adorable Wookie is my great nephew Wes. And of course, the Pugs are Pippin {Yoda} & Merry {Darth Vader}. I crack up laughing every time I look at this picture! Enjoy!

Sale-a-bration starts this year on January 24th. If you haven’t gotten your SAB catalog, you can check it out online via my catalogs page. I wasn’t so thrilled with it right away, but a few things are growing on me. This card is made with the set, Fresh Vintage. It’s very similar to last year’s stamp set, Bliss. I also made a card similar to this last year with Bliss. This is the card we will be making at my Open House on the 21st. It’s so beautiful in person!
The card stock is Poppy Parade. There’s only 6 months left of the 2010-21012 In Colors so I better use up my stash!

This was a card I found on Pinterest, but it turns out that it’s in the Idea Book and Catalog on page 14. I totally missed it. I thought this was a great, different kind of Valentine card. I should look through the big catalog more often!
Oh, if you don’t know about Pinterest, it’s a great site to save all pictures on the web.

First of all, Happy New Year my blog readers! This will be my 5th year as a Stampin’ Up! Demo! I don’t know where the time goes these days! I’m hoping in a few months that I will be in my new stamping studio. Just have to wait until hubby gets a job and vacates his office :0
Onto the card, love the new set from the Occasions Mini, PS. I Love you. The chocolate covered strawberry is to die for! On this card, I used the Crystal Effects on the chocolate part and it looks so real I could eat it!! This is a very simple card. I’m doing a lot of simple cards lately. Wait until you see the card my guests at my Open House will be doing! It’s so beautiful! Make sure you RSVP that you are coming on the 21st!

I won’t be doing any Valentine card classes this year, but I will be selling them at my open house. Stay tuned for more projects you can copy!!!
