Last year, Stampin’ Up! sold kits to make the Ornament Keepsakes ornaments that were on the 2012 Holiday Mini. This is great for those who don’t have the Festive Flurry bundle and love the snowflake ornaments you can make with them
The kit includes everything you need (minus adhesive) to create 10 snowflakes, including
- 10 feet of Soft Sky Ribbon
- Printed cardstock – die cut and scored, ready to be assembled (Soft Sky, Crumb Cake, Whisper White Cardstock and Silver Glimmer Paper)
- Large Rhinestone Basic Jewells (40)

You can order them online or contact me to order. These sold out fast last year so get yours before they are gone!

One of my team members got me turned on to these rosette Christmas Trees. You can find the instructions here from this talented lady!
I made 2 of them. The big one is all the layers in Susie Moore’s tutorial. The smaller one is the last 9 layers of her tutorial. It takes a lot of paper. You really need to make sure you have at least 1 dark layer alternating. In the smaller tree, I used 3 different patterns, a light, medium and dark one. On the bottom, I put a painted dowel to lift it off the table a bit.
Thanks Karen P, you got me hooked on these! I’m going to try a white one next week. If it turns out ok, I just might do a class on it! Only if enough people ask me too…

My mother lives in a retirement community and one of her friends buys a lot of cards from me. She asked me to make a special card for one of her friends. She said that her friend keeps all the cards I’ve made that have been given to her! She’s a “Card Worthy” gal!
This is just a 5 x 5 card made with the Stippled Blossoms set. She loved it!

I can’t believe I haven’t used all the stuff I bought from the Holiday Catalog yet! When I saw this set, I loved the script of the verse, but the tree is beautiful as well.
I CASED this card, but toned it down a little. I wanted something fast and festive!
This is one of the projects we will be doing on Saturday, Nov 23rd. There’s room in this class so if you aren’t signed up for the Friday, Nov 22nd class and want to do it, go to the Workshops page and sign up!
Stamp Set: Special Season, Four the Holidays (r)

I’m addicted to the Festive Flurry bundle and the Gift Bow Die! Just can’t help it!
These boxes are from the main catalog, they are very sturdy and great if you give out cookies or fudge. I would use wax paper so it doesn’t stain the inside of the box and the recipient can reuse it.
I stamped the boxes with the snow flake from Festive Flurry with the white Stazon. It dries faster than I thought and is a great affect.

I guess muslin bags are in this year. I see them everywhere. I decided I bought too much “fall” themed chocolate Hershey Kisses and I need to get them out of my house!
I stamped the bag using Early Espresso and filled the bag with the Kisses. I recycled my wine tag project and stuck it onto the muslin bag with hot glue. I won’t eat the candy now that it’s ready for my next craft show!

We did this in a class on Friday, and I realized I never posted it! I sold a lot of these at my craft show last week and presented them as wine bottle tags. They were a big hit! I realized that I’ve bought almost everything in the Holiday Mini this year!
Again, sorry about the pic. I bought a new bulb for my light studio, so hopefully the pictures will come out better than this one.
Also, a lot of my classes are filled up. I’m adding a Saturday morning class for the classes that are full.
Have a great day!
