Here are the August & September panels for the Shadow Box Club. This club is full and there are no instructions available. The basic measurements are as follows: The panel is 6 x 8. The first square is 1 3/4 and the layered square is 1 5/8″. You could use 1 1/2 if you like, but I like the 1 5/8″ square better. Decorate it any way you wish!
The second payment is due for those in the club, so please contact me if you have not sent in your second payment. In order to stay in the club, you must be current. If you do not choose these three months, you will forfeit the remaining months.
I’m working on October tonight so hopefully you will see that tomorrow!
August was tough….but I’m pretty happy with it. Glad I keep most of my retired stuff!
I LOVE how September came out. I really miss this paper
Autumn Vine. It’s about 2 years old.

Got my new stash of stamps this week! I’ve been having some fun with them as you can see. I didn’t get much of the new stuff yet, I will be over the next few weeks though.
I love this new set, I Dig You. I’m going to do this in a class on August 5th. Make sure you sign up for it! Haven’t done a kid card in a while, it will be fun!

Love the new Triple Blossom Punch!!! It’s 3 punches in one!
This is a great gift for someone. I went to my local craft store and bought a pack of 13 8 x 5 bags for $4.00. They work up a lot faster than making a box for the gift cards. The stamp set I used is Big Bold Blossom.

I’ve never been real happy with the stamp sets SU has for any kind of religious event. They never seem to hit it for me. A friend requested a card for her grand daughter’s christening. This was the best I could do with out using any stamp sets at all. I love the white-on-white look for certain occasions.

I’m a little slow these days posting new stuff from the latest catalog. I haven’t ordered much of it yet, waiting to see what other more talented demos do with the stuff before I decide on what I want. Getting a little stingy in my old age!
But I do have some of the new stuff, so here’s a really fast and great birthday card. I made 3 of them in no time at all!
This will be the 3rd card in my upcoming class on July 22. Sign up before the class fills up. It’s my only class of the month.
Card components:
Card Stock: Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzaz, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Just Eat Cake
Stamp Set: Pennant Parade

Here are some pictures of the Billerica Farmer’s Market. The market is on the Billerica Council On Aging every Monday from 3:00 – 7:00 from now until the end of October. I will be there the following dates,

Aug 8th,
Sept 5th, & 19.

These are my tooth fairy holders. They were a big hit as well!

The Farmer’s Market on Monday was a great success! It was a beautiful day and a lot of my friends came by. I will list on the right the upcoming dates I will be there again.
Here is one of the most popular items from the day. It’s hard to figure out what’s going to sell in the summer so I thought something like this would be a good seller. It’s the Stampin’ Up! clear mount case that’s in the idea book & catalog decorated to be a shopping list/coupon holder! I sued the Simply Scrapping kit that’s retiring tomorrow (so if you want to make this, you better put an order in!).
The paper on the outside is two sheets of DSP, one cut 10 3/4 x 4 and one 10 3/4 x 7. The shopping list pad is one from your local office supply store that is cut to 6 3/4″. Some stores will cut a stack for you for about $2.00, other stores won’t cut them. You’ll have to ask around.
The coupon holder is 10 3/4 x 3 1/4. Score on the long side at 1/4, the on the short side score at 1/4, 5 1/4, 5 1/2 & 10 1/2. I took a 1 1/4″ circle punch to punch out the 1/2 circle on the front of it so you can get at the coupons. I sold these or $8.00, maybe I should have charged more! I added a pen with the DSP in it as well.
