Tea For Two

This is the card I did for my downline last night. I own all the paper piercing paks, but haven’t used any of them yet, so I decided it was time!

I usually put a verse on it, but this one didn’t need it – plus I didn’t leave enough room down the bottom!

Enjoy!

In my quest for my downline card for tonight’s meeting, I made a bunch of cards that didn’t make the “cut”.  This was one of them.  It got a little out of control for a demo meeting card.  Not that it’s not good enough from my wonderful downline to make, it surely is, but it takes a long time to put together and we chat so much in the meetings, there might not be enough time to complete!

Enjoy!

Spring Mini Sample

I’m still working on a class card for my downline meeting tomorrow, and this card isn’t it!!!  I’ll post that one tomorrow, I don’t want to spoil it for my team!

This card is one of the prettiest ones I’ve made in a long time.  A lot of the elements are items from for Spring Mini. The Paper Doilies, the Delicate Detail Lace Tape, the Creped Filter Paper, and the Bitty Butterfly Punch are all new items in the mini.  This is a little out of my comfort zone, very Froo Froo for me, but it is really lovely.

Enjoy!

When I first saw the All Dressed Up bundle I kind of thumbed my nose at it.  But, of course, as it always happens, I grew to like all the great things people have been making with it.  I thought it was a great thing to use for weddings as as well.

I was thinking of a great wedding favor to make with the bundle and I remember all the cute little favors I made with the Perfectly Preserved bundle.  Inside this dress is a Chapstick!  I tried making a little box to contain it in, but it was just too hard. Mostly to line up the dresses to fit perfectly.  But for this one, I just used Tombo glue on the Chapstick and stuck it inside the two dresses! Just make sure you line the dresses up so it won’t topple over. I put the 2 dresses in the Polka Dots folder first, only put it up to the waste of the dress, then I put it through with the Elegant Lines embossing folder on the bottom of the dress, leaving the top of the dress out of the folder.  You can put the 2 pieces together through the Big Shot – it saves a lot of time that way.

I actually took pictures of this in my photo studio with the black back drop.  The dress looks like it’s just hanging there!  But I think you can see it better.  These make a super easy and cheap wedding shower or  wedding favor!!  Just make sure you get the Chapstick that you can peal the wrapper off.  As you can see, the Chapstick is pure white.

Isn’t it super cute?

All Dressed Up

I’ve been agonizing for over 3 nights trying to come up with something, and this is all I could do!  Somedays, I can’t get my Mojo!

As simple as this is, it’s really a very pretty card.  And so fast to make!  I bought the All Dressed Up bundle because I have 3 weddings this year and I need to make some wedding gift bags and I have a great idea for it.  That’ design is coming at a later date.

Enjoy!

Nursery Nest Shutter Album

A friend of mine asked me to make one of those shutter albums for her new niece, Cora.  The mom of baby Cora wanted neutral colors, no pink. I tell ya, it killed me not to put any pink in this!

But I think it came out really cute, even without pink!  It’s hard to take a picture of it because it’s so big.

Enjoy!

Pinwheel

I’m in sunny hot Florida while my friends and family are getting ready for the Blizzard of 2013.  I picked the right time to go to  Disney!!!

Before I left, I did a few more cards.  This one was inspired by one of the swaps I received at leadership.  The pinwheel die is very cute, a bit tough to figure out at first, but very cute.  Enjoy!

I’m on a candy dish roll!  I had a request to do something for Easter.  I loved the other candy dish I made  with the Oh Whale set so I decided to do this one with the punches.  Love the bunnies!

I’m going to do a class on this with another item, I’ll have to make that when I get back from Disney!

I wish I can get a better picture of the candy dishes, they just don’t come out so great.

Sunshine & Sprinkles

I’m probably going to be labeled “The Candy Dish Queen”!  I just love making them! They are so fast and easy now that I have figured them out.

I use to decorate the inside with paper, but no longer do it. The candy will cover it up anyways. I also use to cut the paper on the diagonal for the corner pieces, (if you look back at my other candy dishes a while back), but I no longer do that as well. Now, they work up in no time!

This dish is great for either a wedding or baby shower.  I showed it to my class on Friday and as it turns out, one of them is planning a baby shower for her daughter!  She absolutely LOVED the dish!
