Father’s Day Card

My newest downline member, Karen P., came over for a class last night and had to show me this card she made for her hubby.  She said she cased it from a card Andrea Walford did last year sometime.  It’s not always easy to CASE a card if you don’t have the exact same paper and tools the creator of the card has so this is an awesome job!!

Just Cupcakes!

My friend and team member, Linda, gave a card to my daughter  for her birthday. It was the cutest card!! So of course, I had to CASE it!!!  This will be one of the cards in my class this Friday.  I also had to change the card for this Friday because I don’t have enough of the Marina Mist card stock. I’ll have to put that one off until July!

Oh, and the ribbon is Crushed Curry, but the card stock is Summer Sun. Can’t tell the difference!

Card Compents:

Stamp set:  Simple Birthday Thanks
Builder Wheel – Stars
Builder Wheel Birthday
Paper:  Real Red, Summer Sun, Pacific Point
Ribbon:  Crushed Curry Polka-Dot
Accessories: Fine Galaxy Red Glitter, Crimper  &  Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Watercolor Trio

For this card, I used the Watercolor Trio stamp set that’s in the summer mini through Aug 31.  I really wished this one made the big catalog, but alas, it did not.

The card stock is Marina Mist and Bashful Blue.  Awesome colors together!!  This is one of the other cards we will be doing Friday.  Oh, I’ve updated the workshops through Aug so check it out and sign up!

On Monday, I’m holding another beginner stamp class.  Here are the 3 projects we will be doing.  This class is full, but contact me if you want to sign up for another beginner class and learn how to stamp!!

I haven’t used Tart & Tangy for a while. It’s nice to pull out the old sets and use them again.  I used the new Cherry Cobbler card stock as well. Love the deep, rich color!

This is one of the sets from the Summer Mini, Watercolor Trio.

I copied this card pretty much exact.  So simple, yet it doesn’t look it!!

As much as I love the new catalog, I don’t care much for the new sports sets yet.  I love the Just Baseball set that’s retiring so I don’t think I’ll get rid of it.  Hopefully, all those talented stampers out there will create some great cards using the new sport designs.

Card Components:

Card Stock:  Soft Suede

Stampsets: Just Baseball, a Sale-a-bration set from 2009, Just Sporting, Woodgrain

Here are ALL the favors for my daughter’s birthday party.  I have a HUGE THANK YOU to my friend Karen who came over and helped me make these. It took us 2 1/2 hours to make 30 of them.  Without her, I would still be making them!!!!

Sneak Peak Goodies

Ok, as promised, here is a little sneak peak of the upcoming catalog!

First, let me tell you what this is!  A lot of you know that I am also a Longaberger consultant. Well, you know how you go to the gym and there’s a bulletin board of a zillion different business cards splattered across the board. Well, I wanted my Longaberger business cards to stand out some way, so I thought I would make this cute little business card holder to pin to the bulletin board and put more than just one business card in!  I used the Sizzix Box #2 to make it. I can be clever when I want to!

Ok, to the good part. The sneak peak goodies I used were the new core colors – Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist & Daffodil Delight. The ribbon is the new 1/8″ taffeta ribbon. I REALLY love that ribbon. It’s going to come in a lot of colors as well!  I know, I have seen the new catty!!!  Wait till you see it!

The punch is also new! It’s a bigger scallop punch. It’s 2 1/4″ I think, I don’t have the specs in front of me. But it’s awesome!!!  Sorry, it’s an old stamp set, but I needed something cute to draw attention.  What do you think???
