The Farmer’s Market on Monday was a great success!  It was a beautiful day and a lot of my friends came by.  I will list on the right the upcoming dates I will be there again.

Here is one of the most popular items from the day. It’s hard to figure out what’s going to sell in the summer so I thought something like this would be a good seller.  It’s the Stampin’ Up! clear mount case that’s in the idea book & catalog decorated to be a shopping list/coupon holder!  I sued the Simply Scrapping kit that’s retiring tomorrow (so if you want to make this, you better put an order in!).

The paper on the outside is two sheets of DSP, one cut 10 3/4 x 4 and one 10 3/4 x 7.  The shopping list pad is one from your local office supply store that is cut to 6 3/4″. Some stores will cut a stack for you for about $2.00, other stores won’t cut them. You’ll have to ask around.

The coupon holder is 10 3/4 x 3 1/4. Score on the long side at 1/4, the on the short side score at 1/4, 5 1/4, 5 1/2 & 10 1/2.  I took a 1 1/4″ circle punch to punch out the 1/2 circle on the front of it so you can get at the coupons.  I sold these or $8.00, maybe I should have charged more!  I added a pen with the DSP in it as well.

On Monday, I will be at the Billerica Farmer’s Market with a table of all my goodies!  Summer craft fairs are tough because you don’t have any real holidays to make crafts for. I’ll have lots of cards and gifts for people so if you are around, come on down!

Here’s a quick card made with the level 2 from the summer mini, Love & Care.

More Teacher Gifts

Here are some more great little teacher gifts.  The ones on the bottom are made with retired paper, Cottage Wall. That was one of my favorite DSP’s of all time.

I got these little books at the local office supply store and just taped the paper to the front and back. I didn’t put it on the binding for one main reason. It buckles when you open and close it. It looks great without it!

My 11 year old daughter has been in the Special Ed program with the Billerica Public schools since she was three years old.  For six of those eight years she has been in school, Mrs. M has been her teacher.  She has been such a wonderful influence on my daughter and I truly believe that with out her, my daughter would not have made the amazing progress she has.  Mrs. M. is the most dedicated teacher I have ever met and I am also a better mom for knowing her.  I really wanted to do something special for her so I created this frame for her.  We will miss you Mrs. M. and I’m sure you will have hundreds of other parents feeling the way I do when their child leaves your program.

Masculine Birthday Card

Here’s my version of the men’s shirt card.  This is very easy to do and a great masculine card.

I used the DSP Elegant Soiree and Not Quite Navy.  The stamps are from Best Dad Ever that will be in the new Idea Book & Catalog.

Simple huh?

Sneak Peek #2

This is a card I got inspired by Inking Idaho. She actually made a little gift box using the new Triple Layer punch.  I thought it would look good on a card.  The set is the same set I used in the previous card. The DSP is Just Add Cake and the blue card stock you see is one of the new In Colors, Island Indigo.
