Christmas Cheer

Getting my Christmas fix this week. This card gave me an “OMG, I LOVE IT” moment. I don’t get them too often, but I really love this card. It looks so much better in person (I always say that, but it’s so true!).

This will be the Christmas card class for the August Christmas class, this class is limited to 4 because I don’t have a lot of the ribbon (it’s retired unfortunately).

Card components:

Stamp set: Happy Hour

Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green

DSP: Be of Good Cheer

This layout is from this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge.  I’m also going to be doing this card in a class for July. Yup, starting Christmas cards early this year!

The stamp set I used is Stylin’ Snowfolk.  So much fun to do Christmas in the summer!

I did this design a few years back so I thought it was a good time to revisit it.  Enjoy!

Card Components:

Card Stock & Ink: Razzberry Ripple, Old Olive, Pretty In Pink, Very Vanilla

CASED All Weekend

We had a crazy busy weekend! Between 2 stamp classes & 2 parties, there wasn’t much time to stamp!

I found these two card designs up on the web and thought they were so good that I didn’t need to change them much.

This one was for my nephew’s 19th birthday. I use this stamp on every birthday card for him. He’s a big heavy metal dude!  I CASED it from this card.

My neighbor’s son graduated from high school and invited us to the party. I made this card for him, but in Billerica colors. The picture didn’t come out so great in the green colors but the card came out just as nice as this one. I CASED it from this card.

So I went through my stamp sets and found an old Sale-a-Bration set, Sweet Summer. I haven’t used for a long time. I loved this set!

I sorted my current and non current sets and realized I don’t have many current sets anymore. Time to buy some new ones I guess!

Card components:

Card Stock: Rich Razzelberry, Old Olive, DSP Rich Razzelberry

Stampsets: Perfect Pairs, Sweet Summer

I’m into the challenges lately. They are great inspiration and I wish I started them a long time ago!

This is for the Clean & Simple Challenge here.  I used Eggplant Envy & Wisteria Wonder.  The challenged called for 3 different sizes, but I just couldn’t get it to look the way I wanted it with the Flower Fusion.
