What an exciting trip it was!!! Stampin’ Up! is an incredible company. We got SO many FREEBIES and great seminars. I was so impressed. I’ve gone to other Direct Sales conferences and I was really shocked of how much you get for your registration. I knew SU was the best when it came to it’s leaders, but I didn’t really realize how great they were until I attended this past weekend. I already booked my hotel for Convention!!!!!!
You know me as not being very “wordy” with my blog posts, but I feel I need to share some things with you.
Things I learned from Leadership:
1 – I will never do a “general” swap ever again. I was really disappointed with them – this is the 3rd time I’ve done them and I’ve never had a good outcome. Only a few were nice, but the majority were not.
2 – I will always do an organized swap. I did a 3 x 3 Love Notes swap with Barbara Welch and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WAS GORGEOUS!!!!! I could not believe it! I wanted to hug everyone of the swappers! I felt bad because I thought mine was the worse one! I will post those later this week. You will be amazed!!!!
3 – Stampers are the friendlies people! Everyone was so nice and friendly. I really didn’t start chatting with people at length until yesterday and I wished I did it earlier. I guess being from the northeast where we are known for being “cold”, I’ll have to practice being friendly before the convention! Oh, and I need to bring more business cards!
4 – I could have sworn it was a Thirty One Convention! I can’t tell you how many Thirty One bags were there!!!!
5 – Shelli Gardner is an amazing lady. She is so inspirational and genuine. It resonates to her family and staff as well. I wish I lived in Utah so I could work at SU.
6 – Lastly, I’ve never been more enthused and excited about my stampin’ business. I wish I could do it as my full-time job, maybe some day……
Thanks for listening.
Me & Shelli- Crap, she’s older than me and I look like I’m ready for the old folks home! I’ll have to get a better picture at convention!
