Baby Nugget Cake

I’ve had a lot of interest in my Nugget Cake tutorial lately.  It must have been posted on some new site somewhere!

My boss is having a baby and we are having a little party for her on Friday so I thought I would make a baby version of the nugget cake for her.  What pregnant woman doesn’t like chocolate!

The tutorial is still available for sale for $2.50. If you would like to purchase it, you can Paypal me $2.50 at michelle@surette.biz and I will send you the link and the password.

This will make a GREAT centerpiece for a baby shower!

Baby Cards

At my “real” job, one of the doctors had a baby. I wanted to make an extra special card for the new mom so I thought of  a Card In The Box card.  Then I went online looking at different ideas and I found this Block Card. So I made 2 cards for the staff to choose from.

I’ll be doing a Block Card Class in the fall so stay tuned for that. I will only be doing onc class a month from now on.  My schedule just doesn’t give me enough time to allow me to prepare for the weekly classes any longer 😦

Enjoy!

Baby Frame

Hi there!

Been doing a little stampin lately. A friend of mine had a baby and you know I love making baby stuff!

I saw this frame on page 78 of the new catalog. I wasn’t too keen on the banner on the outside of the frame so I just put mine on the inside.  This frame is more of a shadow box and works better for this type of project.

I’m sure I’ll be taking orders for these!

Sweet Baby Card

My new years resolution for this year was to use up all the my retired paper and paper scraps. I have SO much as many of you probably do!! I also need to replenish my stash of cards.

I love making baby cards. They are so sweet and fun to create!

Nursery Nest Shutter Album

A friend of mine asked me to make one of those shutter albums for her new niece, Cora.  The mom of baby Cora wanted neutral colors, no pink. I tell ya, it killed me not to put any pink in this!

But I think it came out really cute, even without pink!  It’s hard to take a picture of it because it’s so big.

Enjoy!

Baby Card

Did a craft show last week and realized I didn’t have a lot of baby cards to sell.  I saw a card similar to this a while back, but can’t find it now.  I used some retired DSP, can’t for the life of me think of it now, gaining an hour of sleep didn’t help me much!

Baby Shower Favors

My Godson is going to be a daddy! Boy, do I feel old! I’ve know his mom since we were 4 years old….again, feeling old!  It’s so great to have a friend who’s known you for just about your whole life! I offered to do the baby shower favors – I did shower favors for when her daughter had her baby a few years ago, so I had to offer when her son, also my Godson, has his baby.  These little pillow boxes are the easiest thing to do. The set is an old retired set, Baby’s First. I was going to sell it, but my team member BEGGED me not to get rid of it so now she has it! I’m so glad she talked me out of selling it because I forgot how cute it was! And yes, it’s a boy!
