Well, two months have passed and no posts.  I had my knee replaced a month ago and I’m just starting to get back into my stamp room!  The surgery went well and I’m ahead of the game at this point. The one GOOD think about having a knee replacement when your young 🙂  I gotta tell ya, not being able to drive was the worse!

Here is a cute ornament I made with the Star Framelits.  I’m planning on doing the Tewksbury Applefest Craft Show again this year on Halloween.  So, I’m starting to make Christmas stuff again!!!  I really missed stamping. Hopefully, I’ll be posting more as I get better and am able to sit in a chair for more than 10 minutes!

Gift Boxes

Sorry I haven’t posted lately, this time of year is crazy as you probably know!

I’m getting ready for my next and final craft show of the season.  It’s going to be Dec 7th in Lexington Mass.  Here’s the info

Lexington, MA 02421

I purchased a bunch of the gift boxes that are in the main catalog.  They are GREAT boxes. Sturdy and a nice size.  I wasn’t sure how I could present them to sell at the craft shows.  I’ve had 2 shows with them and no one has bought them.  Then today, I was getting ready for the show and realized I had bought a “boat load” of Ghiradelli chocolates to wrap.  The though of wrapping 30 of them was a bit over whelming. I looked over at my boxes and thought that the squares would fit in them perfectly. And they did!  The gold paper looks beautiful with the Cherry Cobbler as well.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Elf Box

Well, the Grinch box didn’t materialize, but I think I nailed the Elf one!  I was driving home from delivering an order and I was trying to think of how to make an elf box. I just didn’t want to do the belt buckle. But then, my elf bag came to mind and I ended up with this. It’s too stinkin’ cute!

Candy Boxes

Just looking for different craft show items.  These were so fun to make! They are made with the retire Fancy Favor box. I’m working on a Grinch one, but I might end up with an elf suit instead. The reindeer ears are from the Sizzix Die Bigz Autumn Accents die. The Santa tag is the Ornaments Keepsakes Frame Lits and the bird punch!

Rosette Christmas Tree

One of my team members got me turned on to these rosette Christmas Trees. You can find the instructions here from this talented lady!

I made 2 of them.  The big one is all the layers in Susie Moore’s tutorial. The smaller one is the last 9 layers of her tutorial.  It takes a lot of paper.  You really need to make sure you have at least 1 dark layer alternating. In the smaller tree, I used 3 different patterns, a light, medium and dark one.  On the bottom, I put a painted dowel to lift it off the table a bit.

Thanks Karen P, you got me hooked on these!  I’m going to try a white one next week.  If it turns out ok, I just might do a class on it! Only if enough people ask me too…

Special Season

I can’t believe I haven’t used all the stuff I bought from the Holiday Catalog yet! When I saw this set, I loved the script of the verse, but the tree is beautiful as well.

I CASED this card, but toned it down a little.  I wanted something fast and festive!

This is one of the projects we will be doing on Saturday, Nov 23rd.  There’s room in this class so if you aren’t signed up for the Friday, Nov 22nd class and want to do it, go to the Workshops page and sign up!

Festive Flurry

Happy Sunday!

We did this in a class on Friday, and I realized I never posted it!  I sold a lot of these at my craft show last week and presented them as wine bottle tags.  They were a big hit!  I realized that I’ve bought almost everything in the Holiday Mini this year!

Again, sorry about the pic. I bought a new bulb for my light studio, so hopefully the pictures will come out better than this one.

Also, a lot of my classes are filled up. I’m adding a Saturday morning class for the classes that are full.

Have a great day!

Peace on Earth

I have to apologize for the quality of my pictures. I broke a light in my photo studio and haven’t replaced it yet with the right light bulb.  Have to get my husband on that!

Here is a card we will be doing in an class on Nov 8th.  We will be using the envelope framlits from the Holiday Mini.  It also involves embossing and white Stazon.  There’s room in the class so sign up soon!
