Graduation Card

Im back from Disney and back in my stamp room!  I got some of the pre-order product from the new catalog but I really haven’t done much with it.  I want to wait until I get my hands on more new stuff and I need to see what everyone else makes with them!

Ok, back to graduations – I have a niece and nephew both graduating this year. There always seems to be someone graduating every year!

You know I like to make bags so here’s a card and matching bag for a graduation present.  Enjoy!

Graduation

This is a really bad picture of a really good card.  You can’t see that I used the Shimmer Paint Mist that I made on the Garden Green card stock.  All my workshop attendee’s will see it, but you can’t!  I also used the Fine Black Cosmo glitter on the star. Can’t see how great that looks either. Bummer!!!

The way I made the Shimmer Paint Mist was I got a small spray bottle, the kind you get in the travel sample section at the drugstore, filled it with rubbing alcohol, and added some of the Champagne Shimmer Paint.  One of the blogs in my blog roll, Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts, has a video on it.  I couldn’t find it on her site, but I did see it on Youtube.  Just make sure you shake the bottle before you spritz.  It’s a great look!

We’ll be doing this in a class the first week of June.

Card Components:

Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Garden Green
