Ok, I’m away on business in NJ (my real job as an accountant, not my fun job as a SU demo), but I took about 80 pictures to work on the nugget cake tutorial that should be ready by the weekend. Here’s the other cake I made that you will see in the tutorial. This one is made with the “Just Add Cake” DSP.  You can still get the DSP until the end of the month. I didn’t put any verses or pictures on scallop pieces. I’m not sure what I was going to use it for so I left it blank.

The detailed tutorial will be available as a PDF download for $2.50. All club members and customers who place an order with me in May & June will get it for free!

Below is the link to the finished Nugget Cake Tutorial.  It’s 25 pages long so I don’t recommend  printing it unless you have a lot of ink!

Club members and customers who make a purchase in May or June get the password for free, just email me for it. All others can have the password for this detailed tutorial for $2.50 via Paypal. My Paypal button isn’t working, so if you just want to go to Paypal and send $2.50 to michelle@surette.biz and mark it “Nugget Cake”, I’ll send you the password.

Working on new things to sell at my upcoming craft fair this Saturday. I keep seeing cards and things with the Angry Birds on them and thought I would make these little beauties.  They are done with punches and Sizzix dies.  Figure the kids would like them. Although I have no clue what Angry Birds are all about!

Baby Shower Favors

My Godson is going to be a daddy! Boy, do I feel old! I’ve know his mom since we were 4 years old….again, feeling old!  It’s so great to have a friend who’s known you for just about your whole life! I offered to do the baby shower favors – I did shower favors for when her daughter had her baby a few years ago, so I had to offer when her son, also my Godson, has his baby.  These little pillow boxes are the easiest thing to do. The set is an old retired set, Baby’s First. I was going to sell it, but my team member BEGGED me not to get rid of it so now she has it! I’m so glad she talked me out of selling it because I forgot how cute it was! And yes, it’s a boy!

Calendars for 2012

Thought I should make some calendars for 2012 to sell at my upcoming craft shows. I don’t want to make too many of these because if they don’t sell, I’m stuck with them!  I used 4 x 4 coasters and just glued card stock on them. Put a magnet on the back and your done! So fast & easy!

Ok locals, this Saturday, I’m at the Burlington High School Craft Fair in Burlington Mass.  Let’s hope the snow is done by then! Can you believe, they are expecting snow tonight????  I’m rethinking about moving to Florida after my daughter graduates college! She’s in 6th grade now 🙂

My November 18th workshop is full. I still have 2 more classes before Christmas so sign up early – they are filling up fast. I’ll try to get the projects we’ll be doing up on the site before Saturday.

Ok, enough chatter – I’m not a big “chatter” person, so here are some more craft fair goodies.

Do you know what these are???? Glue sticks!!  Yes, these are glue sticks just wrapped in designer series paper!  So cute and fast to make!  I wanted a cute little stocking stuffer that wasn’t candy!

I know I’ve shown Post-it-Note holders, but these are just too cute not to re-post.

These are great teacher gifts as well. I purchased a 7 pack of shower gel that are out there now and just wrapped paper around it.  So simple!

That’s it for now, have a great weekend!

I finally finished the coupon book we will be doing in our October 21st class.  I still have 2 spaces available for it so if you want to sign up, let me know. This is available for long distance customers as well as a full kit.  The price is $10.00 plus shipping.

I got the Fabulous Florets stamp set back in June and haven’t done anything with it.  I went to Splitcoast and saw that there were over 600 different samples up there!  Looks like you’ll be seeing a lot of this stamp set from me in the near future. What was I thinking, it’s a beautiful set!

Post It Note Holders

One of my customers turned me on to these a while ago. Kerry’s Craft Blog is a great place to get some great ideas. She’s such a great designer. I CASE her quite a bit!  She makes these for craft shows.  She’s not doing many craft shows because she just had her first baby (you’ll see lots of adorable pictures of her baby on her blog).

These make great teacher gifts!
