I made a bunch of money holders for Christmas for my nieces and nephews.  I didn’t get a chance to post them, they were just Santa Belly Band ones. But, I realized I haven’t done anything like that before so it inspired me to do this one!

I was happy to use a lot of items in the new Occasions Mini as well as some Sale-a-Bration product.  You can now order from the Occasions Mini now through May 31!  Sale-a-bration starts on Jan 28 and runs through March 31.

Want directions to make this? See my Projects page for details.

We did this bag in a class a few weeks ago.  I didn’t post it though!  I love making Christmas bags. The stamp set is Lovely As A Tree.  The oldest stamp set in the book!

These were a big hit at my craft fairs last year.  I’m starting to make them early!

I also had some of my class attendees asking to make them in a class, so I’ve updated my class on Oct 25 to make 1 of these, 1 of the leaf tags and 1 of the snow flake tags in the class. The class is full, but you can be added to the wait list, please note the price change as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve been working on craft show items.  I have my first craft show in a few weeks and need to make some new stuff.  I made these wine bottle tags with some new stuff I got from Mr. Brown yesterday!  They were very easy to make, it’s all about the tools!

Also, what do you think of the picture? I took it with my new iPhone 5s!  I love gadgets 🙂

So last weekend I had the Gently Falling set all weekend and couldn’t come up with a good card for a class.  Tonight, I came up with all these in less than 1 hour!!!!  I borrowed the set from my downline, but I think now this set has to be in my collection.

These cards will be in an upcoming class in October, sign up soon, my classes are almost full!

When I first saw this set in the catalog, I knew I would love it.   I was working on a card for this Friday’s class all weekend trying to use the Gently Falling set  After 2 full days of not coming up with anything, I just grabbed this set and came up with this card within 20 minutes! I should have started with this set!

Gift Bow Die

Had a great team meeting last night!  My team is growing so big!  I might need to move it to a bigger venue next time!!

The project we made last night (have to make some project when my team gets together) was this really cute gift card holder.

The basic card design is the same as this one. But I used the new Gift Bow Sizzix Die in the Holiday Mini.  The card worked up so fast!  These are great craft fair goodies. People constantly ask me for gift card holders.

The card base is 7 1/2 x 5. Score at 1 3/4 & 5 1/4.  The DSP is 4 3/4  x 1 1/2 and 4 3/4 x 2  The band is 1 3/4 x 8.

We will make these in an upcoming workshop!

One of the fun things from Convention is swapping.  I participated a Christmas bag & tag swap. One of the swaps from it was a cute elf bag. I can’t remember who did it, but it inspired me to do this one.  Hers was almost identical to mine with the exception of the tag.

Here is my bag & tag and I have to say, I laughed out loud after I stamped the back of the tag. You’ll see in the last picture. I used the new stamp set from the Holiday Mini, Merry Little Christmas. When I inked it with my markers, I didn’t ink the “S”. Sometimes I amaze myself.

This bag will be one of the projects for my Aug 22nd class. Sign up soon, all my classes through October are filling up!

I bet you just laughed too….

I have to get started on posting for upcoming classes.  I’m not traveling for a while so I have no excuses going forward!

Here is an embossed card I will be doing this  Friday night.  As usual, pictures don’t do it justice. It looks a little to green in this pic, and I think in class, we’ll be doing a little less on the top part – but I still like it. I just recycled one of my favorite layouts and I made this card in less than 1/2 hour!  A new record for me!

Been back a week from Convention and I’m just getting caught up. We’ve had some construction done at our house and I’m starting with a new client for my “real job” (SU is my fun job!) so life is a little hectic lately!

The construction project is all done.  All we have left to do is put the ceiling fan up. We put a new room on so my husband can have someplace to go when the girls come over to stamp on Friday nights!!

Speaking of Friday night, I finally created the project for the class.  I’m away for 3 days (always traveling) and needed to get some project done for the upcoming classes!  Here is what we will be making Friday night,  This will also be one of the projects for my upcoming new Monthly Stamp Club program.  Stay tuned for that!!!
